New Music
Joe Brown at the Chronicle has published his top 5 ways of finding new music. I'm going to have to check some of them out (except iTunes- screw that no copying nonsense).
I never listen to the radio (mostly because I don't drive, and that's the only place I like listening to the radio) and I don't have cable so I don't watch MTV or other videos, so I only hear of new music by reading about it. Then I'll go download some, see if I like it, and maybe buy the album if I do. But because the publications I read skew towards the underground, I often have no idea who the people are on the Top 40. Like, who is Lil' Wayne?
